The station is powered by a Davis Vantage Pro2 Plus with FARS weather station. The data is collected every 2.5 seconds and the site is updated every 15 seconds. This site and its data is collected using Weather Display Software. The station is comprised of an anemometer, a rain gauge, solar sensor, a UV sensor and a thermo-hydro sensor situated in optimal positions for highest accuracy possible.

About This City

Port St. Lucie is Florida's 9th largest city, with a population of 166,000 and an area of 116 square miles. It is on Florida's east coast about 50 miles north of West Palm Beach, halfway between Miami and Orlando.

Temperatures range from an average of 64 degrees in February to 82 degrees in August, making the city and surrounding area a tourist destination and a Snow Bird paradise.
